Glogerfestspillene

Sadly, the soprano Ingela Bohlin has been forced to cancel her appearances at the Gloger Festival 2012 for health reasons. We have however found a fine replacement for her in the Norwegian soprano Berit Norbakken Solset, who jumps in at short notice. Berit was a festival performer at the Gloger Festival 2010 and makes a most welcome return. She performed memorably in 2010 at - amongst other events - the Opera Night concert, the Bergseminaret's Chamber Concert, and in the Festival Church Service. For many Norwegians there is a slight obstacle to the enjoyment of classical music, and we want to do something about this. Therefore the program in January is being presented to the public with the phrase "Treat yourself to a classic". This reflects our belief that we can encourage even more music lovers to attend the 26 concerts of the Gloger Festival 2012 than we have attracted in previous years.
