Håvard Stenvold was educated at the Opera Academy in Copenhagen, where he studied from 1994. From 1998 he entered the soloist class at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. He has studied with Susanna Eken, Ingrid Bjoner and Håkan Hagegård. He has worked as a soloist with Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Iceland Symphony Orchestra and also held a series of concerts at the Oslo Chamber Music Festival. He made his debut at the Royal Theater in Copenhagen as Masetto in Don Giovanni in 1997. Stenvold has sung roles in Carmen, Poppea's coronation, David and Bathsheba, Dokkedoktoren, Acis and Galatea, Jephta, Così fan tutte, Rigoletto, The magic flute and Don Pasquale, and he was soloist in Mozart's Requiem, Haydn's Theresien Mass and in Purcell concerts at the Early Music Festival in Bruges in Belgium.
