
Elisabeth Linton is a stage director and opera is her speciality. She graduated from the State Theater and Contemporary Dance in Denmark in 2001 and has staged operas, musicals and plays for The Royal Theater, Gothenburg Opera, Den Jyske Opera, Malmö Opera & Music Theater, Norrland Opera, The Opera Fyn, Aalborg Congress, Vadstena Academy, and Theater Lübeck. Linton has served as Assistant Director for David Radak, Kasper Bech Holten, John Cax, and Lars von Trier in his
Der Ring des Niebelungen. In 2004 she received the Danish Performing Arts Talent award for her production of
Eugene Onegin, and in 2007 her production
Skriftestolen recieved the prize for that year's opera. In 2009 she conducted an opera project in collaboration with Swedish Television. Elisabeth Linton is a member of the board of Den Jyske Opera. More information about Elisabeth Linton is available on
