Henning Kraggerud is a prolific chamber musician who plays both violin and viola. He was born in 1973 and debuted in 1992. Kraggerud has been a soloist with all the Norwegian symphony orchestras and a number of foreign ones. He has made numerous CDs, including recordings of the Grieg sonatas and of concertos by Sibelius and Sinding. As a chamber musician he has collaborated with artists such as Leif Ove Andsnes, Martha Argerich, Stephen Kovacevich, Truls Mørk and Kathryn Stott. Together with pianist Helge Kjekshus, Kraggerud has given concerts in the United States and in London. He also participates in the upcoming documentary film about Ole Bull. Kraggerud received the Grieg Prize in 1998 and was festival musician in Bergen in 2004. For the album
